Job description: We are a small wholesale auto dealership looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximize reliability and functionality. Responsibilities: Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) Keep logs on work and issues Perform various repairs such as bolt extraction, R&R engine or transmission Install fender flares, side windows, glass, etc. Skills: Experience in diagnosis; electrical and driveability issues Knowledge of trucks and 4WD systems Ability to use scan tools for diagnosis Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Basic computer skills High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred Requirements: Must have own tools Self motivator not afraid to get dirty and work on trucks in a busy wholesale environment Minimum 2 years experience, preferably 5 Valid ODL and MUST be insurable Competitive pay DOE
