Facilities Maintenance Technician Location: Springfield, Oregon (Corporate Headquarters) Employment type/status: Regular, Full-Time or Part-Time (32-40 hours/week) Benefit eligible: Yes – full benefits FSLA status: Non-exempt Required schedule/availability: M-F (8:00am-6:00pm) and some Saturdays (9:45am-2:15pm) Note: this position is not eligible to work remotely ABOUT SELCO: As a member-focused credit union, we’re looking for new team members who have a desire to help others. ABOUT THE POSITION: SELCO Community Credit Union is looking for a part-time or full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters location in Springfield, Oregon. This position will support SELCO and assist Facilities Leadership by performing building and grounds inspections, maintenance, and repairs, including conducting periodic preventative maintenance, ensuring all equipment and systems are in high functioning working order at all times. Two (2) years of building maintenance or equivalent training and experience is preferred, but not required. A valid driver's license is required. Essential job duties include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list): • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, including but not limited to building exterior and interior such as: o Siding, roof, gutters, walkways, parking area o Flooring, high-touch surfaces, doors, windows, stairways, furniture, fixtures o HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliances o Landscaping, irrigation • Perform scheduled periodic preventative maintenance • Actively engage and communicate in a friendly, professional manner in person, over the phone, and via e-mail • Consistently achieve individual performance goals and contribute to department and organizational objectives • Represent the Credit Union with a high level of integrity and professionalism Skills and abilities include (please see the position description for a comprehensive list): • Proven building maintenance experience • Ability to use hand and power tools • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; strong problem-prevention and problem-solving skills • Work ethic that includes dependability, punctuality, and a professional appearance and demeanor • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups at all organizational levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent; • At least two (2) years of building maintenance or equivalent training and experience; and • Valid driver’s license; and • Must be bondable
