Looking for an older couple, or a mature in age person to have my baby. It is with a heavy heart that I’m giving away my dog due to us moving. He’s been with our family for four years. We adopted him from the shelter and he’s been our good boy since. They told us then that he might be 3/4 years old. If that’s true, he’s 7/8 years old now. We celebrate his birthday in March. I’m asking for an older couple/person because he’s a big ol tired thing that doesn’t like much noise or commotion. His favorite things are early morning walks, napping all day, laying on the couch with his stinky blankets, and being a companion. (If you wash his blankets he won’t be so excited to lay on them until they start to smell again) He will come with his food, his lifted water bowls, and treats. All I ask in return is that you give him all the love in the world. He was supposed to be put down, due to his large size because no one wanted him. But I can promise you that he’s worth every pound. He’s part German Shepard and part Labrador. He is amazing at guarding, and has a scary growl for intruders. He barks when someone knocks at the door. He also talks a little when you speak to him. Other than that, he’s very quiet. He’s potty trained. Can sit and shake. He knows the word “pee pee”. He loves car rides. He loves going to the lake. He’s pretty good with getting into the bathtub for baths. He HATES having his nails clipped or filed so I’ve never done it. He is okay with other dogs and cats. Just prefer for him to be the only pet so he can live his days in quietness. He’s chipped and has had all his shots. He’s also been neutered.
