SR 2 Closing Overnight This Week

CLEVELAND — Part of State Route 2 will be shut down overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced. Crews will be doing pavement repairs and resurfacing work on the road. Crews will be working on SR 2 between Main Avenue and I-90 in Cleveland. Work on the road will continue through August 2020. On Tuesday, the I-90 east ramp to SR 2 west will be closed between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. for resurfacing. Drivers will be detoured along I-90 east to E. 55th Street to I-90 west to SR 2 west. On Wednesday, the SR 2 east ramp to I-90 east will be closed between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. for resurfacing. The detour is I-90 west to St. Clair Ave. to I-90 east.
