Cuddly Dog-friendly 4 year old cat

We are looking to rehome this sweet boy as we just had a baby and baby is allergic to cats. :( GOOD HEALTH, NEUTERED, WELL GROOMED He is 4 years old, healthy, up to date on vaccines, litter trained, neutered. He is a very clean cat and takes great care of his fur, doesn’t require any grooming from us. He is a short haired cat. GREAT WITH DOGS He is very sweet, cuddly, playful, and was raised with dogs. He is assertive with new dogs and takes time to warm up to them but has adapted quickly to every dog he has met (9 different dogs, various breeds - Frenchie, Boston terrier, golden doodles, Husky, unknown mix, and a husky-mix). Once he has warmed up to a dog, he will even play and snuggle with them. TOLERATES CATS BUT PREFERS NO CATS He will tolerate other cats but does not really like cats. He has lived with an elderly female cat his whole life (she has been rehomed with family but no one can take Milo sadly). He guards the litter box if shared with another cat. He would do best as an only-cat. GOOD WITH KIDS He is VERY FRIENDLY with our baby and would be good with a family with kids, but was also very happy prior to baby being born with just us. He was fine with our pre-pandemic schedules out of the house most of the day, can be left for short trips (2-3 day) with enough food/water. LIKES He likes water and will hang out by you if allowed in the bathroom during showers/baths. He also likes all the normal cat stuff like sunbathing, chasing things, laying in boxes. He loves a good cuddle. ISSUES His only fault is that he will try to eat loose plastic (grocery bags, wrappers, etc., not so much plastic toys, bowls, etc.) so we make sure to toss those asap. WOULD LOVE TO GO OUTSIDE He has been an indoor cat his whole life (with supervised outdoor time. He will roam fine on a leash.) but would love to be an indoor-outdoor cat. We lived in Chicago and now live between two busy roads in Louisville so the location has never been good for him to go out unsupervised. DIET He’s been fed dry and wet food his whole life. We are sad to have to rehome him but must do so for our baby. If you feel like you may be a good fit for our Milo man, pls contact me!
