Wade Freedman Needs Your Support Wade Freedman is trying to reconnect with friends and family. A letter or card is always nice to get. Let him he's not alone! INFO: Wade Freedman is finally 95%+ through is 18 year federal prison sentence and he is asking all of his many friends and acquaintances to please consider sending him a little cash to help out. Also to write him. He will be out before the end of 2022 and he won’t have anything or anyone to come back to. Let’s work together to change that. Reentry is extremely hard for people. He has had both his prosthetic leg AND crutches taken away from him and is either in a wheelchair or is being carried up and down stairs by guards and has had a lot of trouble with the shower that is in the room he has to use as it is a foot above the ground level which being an amputee, without crutches, he's not able to navigate things easily. Being housed in an area with lots of people he has gotten sick 3x and the last time has left his lungs very bad. His leg is wasting away and he's in a lot of pain. They denied his request for it back and it's been a hard blow for him. It's been 4 years now and nobody seems to care. Let’s change that! Your support in these times is so very important. Legal help (pro bono) is also acceptable but I ask that you contact him through proper legal channels. Last time he checked in with me on what he was spending his time on he was in the process of reading and transcribing the Holy Bible. He had run out of funds for paper so that has been put on hold. He likes sending and receiving emails with Corrlinks and that is free! He does not have any money for canteen commissary etc. he is just surviving. I am trying to help him.
