Perform safety inspections on meter settings and all attached piping including detection of gas leaks or abnormal operating conditions. Safety Audits include a visual inspection of all utility owned piping within the customers premise which includes the meter setting. They will use safety sensitive equipment to determine if gas is present in the atmosphere and conclude if any abnormal operating conditions exits. The technician will file the appropriate reports or call in any emergency situation to the utility if one exists. They will work with Supervision to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
