I left Boston 10 years ago and was a former tenant of a house on Commonwealth Avenue in Chestnut Hill. As I left in a hurry I was not able to bring a very cherished cottage-style desk with me. I now miss it terribly and hope to reclaim it. Do you have any idea of its whereabout? Have you seen it, or are you currently using it? I will be going to Boston in coming weeks/in the near future, and can offer to buy you a new desk if you are its current owner. Unfortunately I have not been able to get in touch with the former landlady or the owner of this house, who has rented this house to students or young professionals for over a decade. It may still be inside the house or in its basement. Please let me know. It has great sentimental values to me.
