Rehoming coonhound

We are sadly rehoming our coonhound, piccolo. He needs to be adopted into a KID FREE house. We recently just had two kids of our own and he is not adjusting well. He has not bitten but he will growl at them and bark especially when he’s laying down or sleeping. In the yard/outside he’s perfectly fine but unfortunately we just can not take the chance of something happening and all it takes is a second. He’s very affectionate with adults and others outside the house. He gets along great with our Beagle. He is neutered and up-to-date on shots. This is very difficult for us, we don’t want him going to the shelter and will be asking a rehoming fee to keep him out of animal abusers hands.
