Missing person in my life

Not a missed connection but a missing person in my life This is a real person that met someone 10 years ago on craigslist. He was my friend and he died January 6 and I just found out. He was from Kansas, and he was funny and made me smile for 10 years. We had our ups and downs but we always stayed in touch through email. I will miss him tremendously. Please let me know if anyone has ever faced anything like this
