LAKEWOOD, OH — A 28-year-old man has been accused of killing a Lakewood resident last week.
Domonique E. Moore has been accused of aggravated murder, Lakewood police said. Craig Cullen-Terzano, 80, was found dead outside a home on Clifton Boulevard on Aug. 12.
The 28-year-old was living with Cullen-Terzano prior to the shooting, News 5 reported. Moore married the 80-year-old's granddaughter and the whole family lived under one roof, Cleveland 19 noted.
After police found Cullen-Terzano's body outside the home, they learned a suspect in the man's death was inside the house. The suspect refused to come out and SWAT teams were called to the house.
The standoff lasted through Aug. 12 and and into Aug. before the suspect surrendered at 5 a.m., police said. No one was hurt during the standoff.
Moore is now being held on a $1 million bond. His next court date has not yet been set.
Cullen-Terzano was a doctor working for the Ohio prison system. His death was mourned by Gov. Mike DeWine.
