Landscape Maintenance Driver, Helper, & Crew Leader Job Description We are a well established, all-phases landscaping company based in Hillsboro, Oregon with 45 employees. We currently have openings for experienced landscape maintenance workers. One position requires a valid driver's license and positions that do not. The positions are full time, 40 hours per week except for 3 months during the winter where our crews work limited hours. We generally work Tuesday- Friday, 8 -10 hours per day. We do strictly residential landscaping and maintenance. No commercial jobs. Job duties will include: Mowing, edging, fertilizing, raking leaves, pruning, blowing, and weed control. Occasionally assist with landscape clean-ups or light landscaping projects / enhancements. Barkdusting, planting, etc. Communicating / working together with managers in the company Assure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned. Promote and maintain safe working conditions Shop upkeep Skill Requirements Fluent in Spanish is a big plus as most of your co-workers will be Hispanic and Spanish speaking. Reliable. Ability to be on time and be at work every day you are scheduled to work Min. 1 year experience on residential landscape maintenance crew. Detailed experience using all landscape maintenance equipment, such as; 21" mowers, 36" mowers, edgers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, aerators, power rake, pulling trailers, backpack sprayers, commercial fertilizer spreaders, blowers, etc. Excellent people skills Positive attitude Be drug-free and responsible Experience driving a company truck & trailer Compensation Pay $18 - $20 depending on experience and if you have a drivers license.
