Carburetor Whisperer Needed

Description

I'm rebuilding a 78 f150 with the 6.6L 400 engine, Holley 4175 carb, vacuum secondaries, manual choke. Having a ton of issues getting it to fire consistently. Sometimes it lights right up and idles great other times it floods, tries to fire but never catches. Since it's so inconsistent I only try running it on days the temps above 55 degrees. Sick of banging my head against the same wall and replacing fouled plugs. Truck isn't drivable so you'd have to come to me. I have most tools you'd need. Willing to pay to learn what the heck i don't know. Probably something simple but this is my first carbed vehicle. There's def spark and fuel and compression. This is all just air/fuel mixture issues. I've already wasted days on end messing around with this so if you don't have years under your belt tuning carbs please don't waste my time.
