Join Casey's Facilities Team as a Lead Facilities Maintenance & HVACR Technician! Under limited supervision, you'll provide general preventative maintenance and repairs to our building premises and warehouse equipment. You'll maintains all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment at Casey's Store Support Center. As the team lead, you'll coordinate the mechanical, and maintenance operations for Casey's Store Support Center, Site B and Site D. Key Responsibilities: - Coaching and mentoring of less experienced team members; ensure team members are trained effectively and brings any concerns to leaders regarding personnel issues or performance concerns. - Coordinate with the Assistant Facilities Manager to prioritize work order requests, develop work schedules, and direct daily work of the facility maintenance team based on team member abilities. - Provides leadership with details of identified minor and major maintenance and repair projects, plan and lay out work. Identify parts needed to complete the necessary maintenance and repairs. - Repair and replaces parts and components on warehouse equipment, such as conveyor wrappers, air compressors, etc. Repair or rebuild warehouse racks, decking, etc., and provide welding and fabrication work, as needed. - Maintain and install equipment and various components for all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, according to established standards. - Test and evaluate performance of equipment; repair or replace defective valves, thermostats, and other parts. Requirements: - Graduate of HVACR program but less formal education with more on the job experience may be substituted. - Must have an HVACR license and EPA certifications (Type 4 - Universal). - 2 years of relevant experience. - Ability to train and delegate necessary tasks to appropriate team members. - Possess leadership skills and ability to effectively use mentoring and coaching skills to create a positive working environment. - Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, instructions, safety data sheets and other safety information required for proper performance of the work. - Ability to read and comprehend preventive maintenance manuals for equipment and systems. - Ability to test and evaluate performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. - Knowledge of building controls, mechanical troubleshooting procedures, preventive maintenance practices for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and components. - Ability to respond to after-hours calls as directed.
