Qualifications:Great position for 2nd and 3rd year college studentsCoursework or Associates degree in ECE or related field orChild Development Associate (CDA) certificate or enrolled, orHigh School Diploma with experience in a classroom setting and with childrenLevel 3 CPL preferredWillingness to update job knowledge with required ODJFS Licensing Rules and SUTQ professional development opportunities and industry trends Demonstrate cross cultural competency while working with Horizon's diverse population.We seek someone who is prompt and reliable and who possesses a genuine love of children Homework assistance in one-on-one and small group settings; check work and ensure completion if possibleResponsible for the care and supervision of the children in the classroom- build rapport, classroom managementPlan and implement engaging age-appropriate lesson plans for classroom activities and clubs.
