Press release from the Village of Arlington Heights: Due to Christmas on Friday, December 25, 2020 collection services will change for single-family residence served by Groot, the Village of Arlington Heights' service provider. Collection services during the week of December 21 - 25 will change to the following: If your primary day is Monday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Monday, December 21. If your primary day is Tuesday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, December 22. If your primary day is Thursday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, December 24. If your primary day is Friday – your garbage and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, December 26. Christmas Trees Christmas trees will be collected on your primary solid waste collection day from January 2 through January 14. Landscape waste stickers are not necessary for Christmas trees.
