Press release from the City of Lakeville: March 20, 2020 County Road 70 will be closed to all traffic at the Progressive Rail rail crossing beginning on Monday, March 23. Construction is expected to take one week to complete. A traffic detour establishing a route of Holyoke Avenue, Lakeville Boulevard and Cedar Avenue is posted in the field. Final plans and specifications are complete and waiting for MnDOT State and Federal Aid approval. City and County staff are re-evaluating the proposed project and construction phasing schedule based on feedback from prospective contractors and recent industry observations.
