Keep track of the number of books you read. When you have read 500, contact Kids' World at [email protected] or call 847-392-0100 to select a free book while the building is closed to the public. When you reach 1000, come back and select a second book. Track your progress online at ahml.beanstack.org. Prefer a paper log? Email or call us for pickup at the library or bookmobile stop. Grades K–3 Read 500 The Arlington Heights Memorial Library challenges you to read 500 minutes a month! That's only 20 minutes a day for 25 days of the month. Every time you read 500 minutes, you will get a badge that will count as an entry toward a grand prize giveaway. One winner per grade will be selected on September 1st each year. For every six badges you earn, you will get to pick out a free book to keep! Grades 4–8 100 Books Before High School Log every book you read. For every 20 books logged, you'll earn a badge and a book! Achieve 100 books before high school and earn a High School Survival Kit. 100 Books Before High School is sponsored by the generous donation of the Friends of the Library.
