Sweet adult dog needs new home, comes with supplies and support

We are retiring and the community we are moving to has a hard 2 pet limit. We currently have 4 and must re-home 2 of them. In fairness to them, we're keeping the ones we've had the longest. We rescued Stan as a young dog and have cared for him for over 10 years. He's very sweet and quite adaptable -- he'll sleep most of the day, but if you want to go for a walk or play, he's out of that bed lickety-split. He has lived with cats all of his life and will even share his bed with them. His favorite treat is whatever you are tossing him (and he's a good catcher). He is so gentle that if you hold out a piece of food, he will very gingerly take it from you. He responds to "sit" and "paw". Other than delaying our retirement for the rest of his life, we don't have many options. He has had regular vet appointments his whole life and is current on all of his shots. He comes with all of the necessary supplies -- 2 LL Bean dog beds, a large flannel pillow that we use in the crate for travel, a large crate that gives him generous space when he needs to be in it, a leash or two, collar, harness, waterproof mat for his food and water bowls, and at least one large bag of food. We can include a nice "child gate" if you need to close off a portion of the house to him. We will also provide a generous adoption fee to help you purchase any additional supplies you may need and to help cover food costs for at least a year.
