Preschool Teacher- Contracted School Year 20-21Department: Early Education StaffDescription:Position available in service area: Cuyahoga County. Two positions open for our Lakewood and Berea Horizon locations.Responsibilities: Prepares and implements daily lesson plans and ensures high quality interaction with childrenExperience with Creative Curriculum preferred; strong familiarity with lesson planning incorporating all domains of the Ohio Early Learning Content StandardsMaintains a clean, safe and emotionally supportive environment that are conducive to learning and is centered on the needs and abilities of the childrenCompletes developmental screenings (ASQSE2, ASQ3R or DECA) & assessments (ELA, GOLD)Maintains documentation for services provided, progress reports and attendanceWorks as a leader and part of a team with Teacher Assistants, Center staff and DirectorBuilds positive relationships with families, communicates regularly with familiesParticipates in staff meetings, conferences, professional development and Horizon support meetings as required by positionThis is a contracted position starting August 1st, 2020. Paid Rejuvenation period summer 2021 (8 weeks) Also includes time off Thanksgiving week, Winter Break and Spring Break.
