Alexei is an energetic male Russian Tortoise. He was surrendered when his previous owner was struggling giving him the proper care. The previous owner meant well, but his beak was much overgrown and so where his claws. Upon a vet checkup, the doctor explained that Alexei was once very overweight. They were able to trim his beak and claws a bit. Tortoises need very specific care and Alexei needs a home that is ready and willing to provide him the care that he deserves.
