Description
This job primarily entails watching video camera feeds and contacting guests by phone to resolve issues. If the problem cannot be resolved via phone then you will need to psysically drive to the property to deal with guests in-person. Most issues are related to stopping parties, loud behavior or music after hours, disputes with neighbors and parking etc.
You will also be required to contact guests BEFORE they check-in to remind them of the proper conduct and rules during their stay.
We are looking for an experienced security professional to monitor cameras and patrol (as needed) our short-term rental (Airbnb) properties (with your own vehicle) during the hours of 10 pm to 3am Thursday through Saturday.
A background in Security, Military or Police is preferred.
This is a part-time independent contractor position.
We need someone who is professional, well-groomed, and well-spoken; able to communicate with guests effectively and solve problems NOT create new ones.
You must be courteous but firm while not bullying people. A customer service background is helpful. You must be trustworthy and able to work alone with little supervision.
Accurate and descriptive record keeping is a must.
Must have knowledge of basic technology phone apps plus computer programs and spreadsheets such as Word and Excel.
Duties include:
Monitoring Surveillance Cameras and Noise Meters on your own phone app, laptop or iPad to detect potential issues at properties with guests.
Driving to properties WHEN NEEDED and enforcing our rules of conduct including NO PARTIES, LOUD MUSIC OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
Staying in touch with neighbors via phone and text when they have complaints
Keeping a detailed daily log, including accurate records, photos and videos of duties and actions
Reporting to Operations Manager and staying in touch on a regular basis.
