Description
We're looking for an experienced male vocalist who wants to join a group of good, seasoned musicians in Dana Point to explore deep cuts across multiple styles. We're not looking to chase gig money (what money?), although we may play out a few times a year. Rather, this project is much more about bringing together musicians in community with one another to stretch & grow musically and find synergies in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Most of us are either recently retired or nearing retirement, so age is not a qualifier, just your vocal skills and passion for musical performance. The music we play ranges from Rock and Blues (Steely Dan, Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Govt Mule, etc.) to R&B (Marvin Gaye, Yola, Neville Brothers, etc.) to Americana and Country (James McMurtry, Honeycutters, Son Volt, Wynonna, etc.) to Reggae and "Jawaiian" (Anuhea, Common Kings, etc.).... All tasty stuff that grooves. So this is definitely not another tribute band, nor is it a cover band playing the same old worn out tunes we've all played too many times in the past.
Please provide links to videos or other content that allows us to assess your vocal chops.
Cheers.
