You haven't thought this through, if NATO bombs Russia's military Putin will order a counter attack possibly using nukes, he will cut off their energy supply and NATO countries economies will come to a halt. Unfortunately they allowed themselves to become too dependent on Russian gas & oil, Trump warned them but they ignored his warning. Ukraine isn't worth it but if they allow us to replace the energy they buy and Biden doesn't stop that from happening they'll in a few years be able to cut off most of Russia's income and Putin will have to retreat to survive. NATO will also have to stop buying goods from China and develop other countries to produce what they need. As a pacifist, I agree that force is necessary to nip this Russian invasion in the bud. My opinion is that NATO (not the US alone) should carpet bomb every surge of Russians that cross the border into Ukraine. This will result in hundreds or thousands of Russian deaths, but in the long run it will likely save thousands to hundreds of thousands of lives in prolonged combat. What Putin is attempting to do is very similar to what Hitler was attempting in the 1930's. The world waited too long to shut hitler down. We need to act swiftly here to end this before it begins. Extreme force is the ONLY thing a guy like Putin will respect.
