2021 Early Childhood Conference
This summer's theme is "Polarities and Seasons". We will look at many aspects concerning polarities in young children so as to be able to understand and help each child physically and spiritually. Two anthroposophical doctors will give presentations, as well as seasoned EC teachers, an art therapist, and long time anthroposophists, in order to deeply explore this theme. There will be many therapeutic elements included in both morning lectures and afternoon artistic workshops. They will provide participants with depths of anthroposophy along with very practical aspects for you to bring back to your classroom or home schooling setting.
Morning Lectures, Afternoon Workshops, and Evening Sessions will cover: manifestation of polarities in young children, balancing the young child and its environment, the four seasons and spiritual beings, the cycle of the year, festivals, painting, nature tables, seasonal handcrafts, biography workshop, and the study of a few of Rudolf Steiner's books, along with daily eurythmy, pentatonic singing, and speech exercises.
