A.R.M.E PRESENTS The Bumbling Woohas, Exit 18 and Lucid Elephants ALL AGES A.R.M.E PRESENTS The Bumbling Woohas, Exit 18 and Lucid Elephants The ARME Group is proud to present a monster line up of some of New England's hottest up and coming touring bands for their first ARME Night at Sun Tiki Studios. Portland, ME based media company, The ARME Group, has partnered with Sun Tiki Studios for their very first ARME Night - a new concert series aimed at presenting some of the hottest up and coming touring acts, both locally and internationally. For the first installment, ARME and Sun Tiki are proud to present Portland's very own national touring theatrical art-punk band, The Bumbling Woohas (full band set!) with special guests Exit 18 from Boston, MA, and lucid elephants from Northern New Hampshire. The Bumbling Woohas garnered national attention with the release of their 2019 album Welcome To Trash Clown City and the subsequent-massive national tour the band completed in support of the album before the start of the pandemic. Led by the dynamic duo of John Silas and renown multi-media artist Abbeth Russell, The Woohas have become one of Portland's most prolific live acts with shows being equal parts avante-garde theater and anthemic punk energy, A Woohas show is a true not-to-be-missed experience. Joining them on the night is Exit 18, a band that is quickly becoming Boston's hottest musical export. Exit 18 is an independent rock outfit formed in 2016 by Julia Perry and Sean Leahy. The group became an engaging live act, releasing their first singles while still attending high school. With Julia’s brother Dylan Perry on drums, alongside Darren Muise and Doug Mears holding down bass and guitar, Exit 18 continues to run riot and evolve together. With the release of Seventeen in 2019, the group had found its voice, setting the tone for their succeeding debut EP. Get Well Soon is a collection of melodically driven songs dealing with themes of disillusionment, the power dynamics of adolescent longing for one's opinions to be valued, and modern romance. Their second EP Into the Mirror was released in November 2021 led by single “Daddy’s Little Girl.” Their second single "Plastic Art” garnered high praise and was placed in two official Spotify playlists including "All New Rock". Exit 18 has since been awarded a NEMA for New Act of the Year 2019 as well as receiving the BMA nomination for Rock Act of the Year in 2019 and 2021. Rounding out the bill is New Hampshire based lucid elephants. The Psychedelic rock band with roots in blues and jazz has been building an army of followers throughout New England with their energetic live shows and wild genre-warping musical excursions. Tickets for March 12 are on sale now and the show is all-ages.
