Private family seeks an experienced full-time Executive Housekeeper to oversee, plan, and direct activities and operations of housekeeping staff in their Maui home. The ideal candidate can easily take direction from senior staff, is team-oriented, and a self-starter who takes initiative to ensure the ultimate comfort, cleanliness, and safety for all staying in the home. This candidate should be reliable, service-oriented, have a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for organization and cleanliness. Always looking for ways to improve service standards and ensure a positive experience by anticipating the principal’s needs and working quickly without compromising quality. This position reports to the House Manager supervises house staff and third-party vendors. This position is live-out and consists of a Monday to Friday schedule with overriding flexibility for overtime and weekends as requested. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • General housekeeping, deep cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of the residence including seasonal and scheduled tasks • Monitor both indoor and outdoor of residence- cleaning all surfaces and appliances • Completing the family’s laundry including hand washing, dry cleaning, minor repairs, ironing clothes, managing wardrobes • Maintain ALL inventories - fridge and pantry items, organize food and dispose of expired products, personal care items • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances • Superior organization skills applied to all aspects of the job and a willingness to go above and beyond • Run errands as needed • Assist with special projects and events as needed • Maintain residence for guest readiness and assist with guest care- keep all public spaces up to Principals’ standards • Execute small household repairs/maintenance requests • Change linens and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering • Ensures all staff participate in the preservation of the environment and reuse, recycle, or reduce whenever possible • Ensures that safe working conditions and practices are followed • Adheres to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, procedures, and policies. • Passes any owner feedback accordingly • Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products • Ensuring that ALL hygiene and cleaning standards are upheld- trash collection, laundering, floors/carpets, etc. • Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family Requirements: • Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers • Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience working in a private home with longevity in past position(s) as a cleaner of Housekeeper • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year College or University • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Comfortable and willing to work in a home with pets and children • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, minor repairs, organization, fine arts, and antiques • Polished and professional in both mindset and manner • Always work with the utmost discretion and confidentiality, upholding standards/procedures at all times • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Experienced in managing and training housekeepers, MUST be able to lead a team, delegate task • Computer savvy with proficiency in all platforms, programs, and time management apps. Mac environment. • Ability to lift, push and pull required load (approximately 30 lbs.) and stamina to work long periods of time • Must be vaccinated and willing to follow COVID-protection protocol • Valid Driver’s License is required, confident driver with a clean driving record • Legally able to work in the United States
