Please join us for a night of eating, drinking, and supporting a local non-profit organization: The Fruitful Field! Leadership Broward Class XL members (on behalf of The Fruitful Field) will host a Farm To Table event on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Delacaseas Café located at 4404 BougainvillaDr, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL 33308. The event will take place from 6:30 PM –9:00 PM. Join us for a four-course meal prepared by Top Chef season 2 contestant Carlos Fernandez. Curated dishes are all paired with wine: 1 - Crab Shrimp and Bay Scallop Cake, served with assorted greens tossed in a rice wine vinaigrette 2 - The Fruitful Field's organic greens and herb rolls, accompanied by a peanut and tamarind dipping sauce 3 - Succulent Beef Stew with The Fruitful Field's organic root vegetables 4 - Individual Carrot Cakes with Buttercream Frosting Proceeds from this event support The Fruitful Field (TFF), an organization that donates more than 5,000 pounds of its annual harvest to local food pantries. Everything is harvested, cleaned and measured in an outdoor kitchen, which is in dire need of repair. Your support would help TFF obtain the necessary upgrades to better serve our community.
