Learn how to care for young fruit trees now for prolific fruit in the future. Have you planted fruit trees in the past few years? Are you wondering how to prune or fertilize these young trees? Horsford Field Manager Ralph Fitz-Gerald will be leading a Young Fruit Tree Care workshop on Sunday, March 20 from 10 AM - 11 AM at the nursery. This is a free, outdoor, in-person event. He has planted, pruned, and cared for thousands of trees during his horticultural career, and enjoys sharing his experience with the community. Horsford's is located in beautiful Charlotte, Vermont. Local gardeners have trusted us with growing for their landscapes since 1893.   The nursery is home to a full-service Garden Center that annually hosts educational events open to local communities.   Art in the Garden is a series of workshops hosted throughout our botanical gardens and led by local, independent artist instructors.
