I don't know if this has ever been done before, but I'd love to put together a concert version of the music from EOJC for next Christmas. There have been staged versions of the movie in the past, but I want to do a performance of JUST the music. Looking for versatile multi-instrumentalists (or folks steeped in several genres, as we'd need to nail the folksy music as well as the hard rock aspect of the Riverbottom Nightmare Band!) and singers with great harmony skills who grew up loving this holiday special. I'm pretty sure, being NYC, that this would sell lots of tickets -- perhaps even a multi-night run. So, yes, this will be a paid gig. No idea how much yet, but all we need is a great band and an appropriate venue. Hit me up if you're interested!
