Throughout the past several years, FHN has highlighted our community’s diversity and inclusion efforts through engaging conversations, knowledge sharing, and platforms that create opportunities for minority innovators. Part two of this year's FHN event will be Thursday, March 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. MORTAR Cincinnati will be moderating Tapped in Talks with a Conversation experience at Rhinegeist. We teach a nine-week business course designed to help urban entrepreneurs from underserved areas build or expand their dream businesses, giving them the tools to help them grow with their neighborhoods. Essentially, we're teaching people "how to fish". We believe that entrepreneurship can change lives. When people have ownership in an area, they also have pride. This pride then manifests itself in the way that the residents become involved in their neighborhoods; no longer feeling like spectators watching life happen from the cheap seats – but instead taking the field, making plays as productive members of society.
