Description

An hour of reconnecting with our internal power. In this hour of reconnecting with our internal power, Dana Oldfather reminds us of the value of holding space for collective moments of peace through meditation and journaling. In this artist-led community experience for those ages 16 and above, participants are offered the opportunity to join a guided meditation. In Oldfather's latest installation Flyfall, the unruly geese at the feet of its would-be heroines represent our often misaligned and competing goals. We are similar to the heroines in the artist’s work; as a community, we often find it difficult to help one another because of our personal struggles. When we create space for personal and collective compassion, we are often able to strengthen our resilience. You are invited to join our guided mediation and explore your own mindfulness. This program is limited to 15 participants. Register today.
