Sure, there are a lot of pairing dinners out there. wine pairings, beer pairings, whiskey, champagne... but our dinners are different. A pairing dinner turned into a battle between beer lovers and oenophiles, where the best pairings for each course and overall winner chosen by the participants: it'll be another age-old fight between beer drinkers and winos….and for this special evening, against brothers. On Monday, February 28th, we will be opening Piece Out Del Ray for a tasting between brothers. From the beer cooler we have Drew Wiles, Company Brewer for Solace Brewing out of Sterling, Virginia and from the wine cellar we have wine maker Kirk Wiles who has created the first bi-coastal winery in the US and produces wine in both Clifton, Virginia and Santa Barbra, California. Each of the brothers will talk about their choice of beverage, and why their pairing is the best. At the end you will decide who wins the epic clash of wine -vs- beer!
