The March 26th Daffodil walk is FREE and open to the community to attend with registration Garden TransformationCulpepper Garden began the transformation of our garden last year when we planted 28,000 daffodils and added two pavilions and several new benches. In spring 2021, we unveiled our six-phase garden restoration plan and held our inaugural Spring Garden Walk with our first burst of daffodils. Maintaining the GardenThroughout the fall, volunteers planted an additional 5,000 daffodil bulbs in the garden areas along the Gibboney Walk. We further expanded to include our Assisted Living garden and front walkway. Our MissionCulpepper Garden is an affordable independent and assisted living community for people age 62 and older. Since Culpepper Garden first opened our doors in the mid 70's, we have upheld our commitment to preserve, maintain, and protect the natural landscape -- as our founders intended. Our garden area provides a refuge where residents can connect, enjoy nature and spend time outdoors. It is also a wonderful way to foster a multigenerational connection with our community and develop stewards of the environment. For decades to come, the daffodils will herald the arrival of spring at Culpepper Garden and a resurgence of hope and joy for all who visit.
