Looking for a Construction Inspector who is familiar with standard roadway construction practices (paving, milling, trenching, etc.) methods, materials and equipment. This role involves inspecting work to ensure compliance with regulatory municipal standards as well as project specifications. You will also gather information to verify quality and quantity of materials being used for each project, followed by reporting. This is a full-time position during the construction season, and the work will take place between mid March and mid November annually with a layoff in winter months. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of three years experience in roadway construction (prior experience does not have to be a management level). Applicants with a degree in engineering or construction management are a plus but not required. You will need a valid drivers license as your duties require you to visit and evaluate various worksites. This is a non-union position.
