Senator Gomez & STCC BIPOC Small Business Roundtable STCC President John B. Cook invites you to attend the BIPOC local business roundtable, co-hosted by State Senator Adam Gomez (D-Springfield) and Springfield Technical Community College. The conversation between BIPOC business owners will be moderated by Dr. Shai Butler, Interim Vice President for Advancement and External Affairs, & State Senator Adam Gomez. This forum provides an opportunity for members of the BIPOC business community to engage the Senator in conversation about their needs. With the full attention of local delegates, the aim of this event is to raise awareness about existing resources for small business owners, provide an opportunity for the Senator and other local public officials in attendance to hear directly from local BIPOC business owners about barriers to success, and to share information that ensures owners have the tools needed to grow their companies and consultancies. Due to capacity issues related to COVID-19 precautions the event will close off after 30 sign ups so please RSVP, ASAP. Campus mask mandates are in affect and breakfast to go will be provided.
