Tuesday, April 5, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at the State Transportation Building, Ten Park Plaza, Boston, MA How to prepare for the Hiring Fair: • First, submit your application for the Part-Time Bus Operator position and complete your driving record authorization form** at www.mbta.com/apply • Bring your valid driver’s license and proof of COVID-19 vaccination • Wear comfortable clothes/rubber soled footwear and a facemask • Plan on spending 1-3 hours at the hiring event What to expect: o Interview with a T recruiter o Take part in a Workforce Assessment to evaluate your ability to carry out basic functions of the job on an actual MBTA bus o Have your driving record reviewed to ensure it meets our requirements o Learn about the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) permit application process and how we can assist o Hear from T employees who started as bus operators and their career track at the MBTA ***Information for existing Class B CDL holders*** You may be eligible to complete all required steps in the hiring process by taking a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and physical onsite during the event.
