We are located in Delran, NJ. We are a small to mid size company looking to fill 5-6 different positions for this upcoming season. We currently have 3 different truck and trailer set ups. All 3 of our vehicles are 2016 or newer, and most of our equipment is brand new. *What positions are we looking to add to our team? We have a full time grass cutting team and are seeking multiple positions that can mow lawns with top of the line professional equipment, including knowing how to properly operate them. We’re seeking applicants to weed whack all areas as needed, and blow off all clippings while doing a neat job. We are also looking to add landscapers that know the ins and outs to doing spring cleanups, mulching, soil installation, sod, hardscape projects and much more. *Perks to work at Better Edge Lawn & Landscaping LLC* -Full time work is Always available 40 hours + Overtime. -Weekly Pay -Employee Referral Program (If you have a friend tell us about them. If they work here for 30 working days and end up being a good employee during that time you WILL receive $150.00 bonus! Valid Drivers License (Required for foreman position. Not required as a crew member.) 2.) Reliable Transportation to and from work. (This is required for all new employees.) A supervisor can pick you up at Riverside train station if you have no other means of transportation.) 3.) Foreman’s must have a reliable cell phone/device to stay in communication with owner and or supervisor. (It’s not a full requirement for crew members.) 4.) Must have a good work ethic, be able to work in a fast paced environment, and work well with others. 5.) Must be clean from ALL illegal drugs, and pass a mandatory drug test, and random drug tests if needed. (This goes for each and every employee.) 6.) Clean Background Check (Be honest and upfront about everything. We are a second chance company and if it’s minor and you want to change your life for the better we can work with that.) 7.) Flexibility (Sometimes we may need you on another crew for a short period, sometimes Saturdays can be mandatory. We like to hear things like “We will do what is needed to keep things in order”. 8.) Be okay with criticism. (Working for a new company is an adjustment every-time and we strive to bring our customers the best experience.) 9.) Be able to work in most weather conditions including hot weather, cold weather, rain, snow, wind ect. (We WILL not put our team at risk if conditions are too severe. For instance lightning, major storms, and excessive heat 100+ degrees.) (There may be weather delays, shorter days due to weather conditions ect.) It is expected of a morning delay occurs you must return to work when needed that day.) 10.) Be reliable and on time in the mornings. 11.) 2+ Years experience preferred. (Experience of 3+ years is required for foreman position. (If you have no experience and are super motivated, take pride in working hard, or are a younger person we welcome that also as this is a growth opportunity.) 12.) Be able to lift 50lbs or more. 13.) Give your best effort and be optimistic about your daily tasks. 14.) Ability to follow rules and safety procedures. Need to have most qualifications listed above.) $16-$17= 2+ years experience, has most qualifications listed above. $18-$19= Much more experience in the lawn & landscape industry, demonstrates more foreman like tendencies, and has mostly all of the qualifications listed above.) $20-$23= 7+ Years working on lawn, landscape and hardscape jobs. Complete knowledge of equipment and tools and meet All of our qualifications listed above. Must be able to lead a crew, work fast paced, and keep your crew motivated producing professional quality.)
