Job Description We are currently seeking a hard-working and experienced Warehouse/Parts Purchasing Agent to join our team in Davie, FL responsible for assisting Fire/Security Service and Install Departments in ordering and handling needed equipment and materials. ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS: Employee must be inspired to maintain excellent work ethic, and personal accountability. Working in a multi-task environment to ensure assigned duties are completed with quality and timeliness. Ability to communicate with management, co-workers and vendors in a reliable and efficient manner. Responsibilities and Job Requirements Enter as well as issue vendor purchase orders, ordering and processing all inventory transactions from multiple vendors; coordinate, verify and maintain records for incoming shipments and outgoing equipment/materials for multiple jobsites and service inventory Update and maintain inventory database including ability to reconcile discrepancies with vendors Inbound / Outbound equipment/material documentation Transport equipment/materials to jobsites Maintain service records of all company vehicles and keep up to date with necessary daily materials. All other duties as assigned – not afraid to get hands dirty. Knowledge of Fire Alarm/Security Panels and associated equipment is beneficial. MUST have Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, (Quickbooks or similar software system A Plus). Ability to organize multiple work assignments, establish priorities and pay close attention to details. Skills in written and oral communication, ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to work well both independently with specified time constraints and to work well with others in a respectful & team like manner be an all around team player. Must be diligent, detail-oriented, honest, reliable, punctual and dependable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment flexible and adaptable to change. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, be comfortable also doing manual labor and heights Valid Clean driver's license is a MUST Drug Screening and Background Check required
