Join Greenbelt Alliance for a hike through the forests and canyons of Huddart Park! Our sojourn takes us through riparian corridors, chaparral covered slopes, and even groves of coastal redwood trees in this San Mateo County parkland gem. Leaders Jim and Ceci Kim Total Distance This is an easy hike of 3 miles round trip with about 400 feet in elevation gain. Weather Policy Rain cancels Cost $6 per vehicle park entrance fee (exact cash required). Where to Meet We'll assemble by the Zwierlein parking/picnic area. When coming to Huddart from the north (San Francisco) or the south (San Jose), use Highway 280. Turn off at the Woodside Road (Highway 84) exit. Turn westbound (towards Woodside). Proceed approximately 1.5 miles through the Town of Woodside. Turn right on Kings Mountain Road. Proceed up the hill to the main park entrance. Notes Bring water and snacks. Together since 1989, they are now retired but worked together in a dental office on the Peninsula for over 10 years. The Kim’s have two boys, 27 and 28, who also enjoy the outdoors and hike with the family whenever possible. Jim and Marta enjoy travel and are always looking for new adventures.
