His professional career began with the Internal Revenue Service in 1976 as a student intern. Steve opened his own tax and accounting business in 1994, after an 18 year career with the Internal Revenue Service. His firm does Bookkeeping, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Business Development, Tax Consulting, Tax Preparation and Tax Resolution. The firm specializes in small business bookkeeping and accounting, along with Tax Resolution. Steve’s specialty is tax planning and tax conflict resolution. The firm has a staff of seven Enrolled Agents/accountants/ bookkeepers and an Administrative Officer. The firm has three tax resolution associates. Steve is licensed by the US Department of Treasury as an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice in front of the Internal Revenue Service. Steve has served on many board and commissions, such as the Bernalillo County Planning Commission, Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Atrisco Companies, South Valley MainStreet, and Tiwa Lending, to name a few. Steve earned his degree in Accounting at the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Management. Barbara Kline Barbara Kline is Certified Business Broker and a Senior Advisor with Absolute Investment Realty, a commercial real estate firm in Albuquerque, NM. Barbara is a passionate supporter of business owners. She uses her experience to help business owners with property sales, purchases and leases, as well as helping owners reap the rewards of their investment in their businesses at the time of sale. She was recently recognized as one of the top 25 business mentors in the United States in Alignable’s Mainstreet Mentor search. Barbara was a serial entrepreneur and real estate investor for many years prior to getting her certification as a business broker. She has founded numerous companies including a public relations firm specializing in promoting technology startups in Silicon Valley, a day spa, an events center, and a publishing company. As a business mentor in the San Francisco Bay Area and a New Mexico Angel and TVC coach, she provided counsel on business strategy and funding proposals to start-ups throughout the Western United States. She has worked internationally, spending three years in Brussels with Intel and one year as VP of Global Marketing for a Dutch software company.
