A storytelling workshop by Houston poet laureate, Outspoken Bean. A live storytelling workshop led by Houston’s poet laureate, Vibe & Write is for all skill levels, from those who have never written poetry or spoken in public to anyone wanting to hone their oral storytelling skills. The workshop includes a time of instruction and inspiration from Outspoken Bean and a chance for all participants to share their workshopped story in front of the crowd. The workshop is offered free of charge. Tickets for seating on the second-floor mezzanine are available for those who do not want to share publicly but would like to experience the workshop.
