Desperate to find temporary foster home for our 2 cats

Please please I am not sure what sick fun it is for people to message us offering to help, talking to us for days until we decide on a drop off day or pickup day then they ghost us??? But 4 seperate individuals have done this. Even after messaging us over several days, setting things up, only to not respond on day we talked about meeting...I assure you we appreciate the offer of help but we just can't take anymore stress for no reason like this. We have lost our home and are desperately just trying to find a temporary foster home for our 13/14 ye old female cat and our 2 yr old male cat. Technically these are our children's cats they have been through enough and losing their pets is just too much to ask of them onto of everything. We are only seeking temporary housing for 2 to 5 wks MAX! We will provide food litter boxes etc. Our 13 to 14 yr old is happiest alone sitting beside her person, in a windowsill, or outdoors. She loves catnip. A quiet room, heated garage, safe room in a barn would all be fine for her. Our 2 yr old male never met a stranger, cat or person. He loves a laser pointer or any rectangle shaped box he can sit in. I would love to keep in contact with the foster person send pics back and fort. Like I said we are humble and understand we are not the only family who have faced this situation since covid. Had you asked me 18 mon ago if our family would of been in this situation I most likely would of looked at you like you were crazy. We just need a TEMPORARY HOME for our 2 babies again only 2 to 5 wks THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT REHOMING SITUATION. Please with all due respect please do not mention like so many others have that we reach out to SOAR of Indianapolis or Misteyeyes. Despite meeting all qualifications of SOAR & several messages sent it has been over 2wks with no response. Misteyeyes another highly recommended rescue by many will only help if we surrender our cats we have had for 13 half and 2 yrs for them to rehome. Again we should definitely have another residence in 2 to 5 wks max. We do not want our two kiddos to lose their pets. If you can offer a heated room in a barn or garage, a temporary safe home we would be so incredibly greatful beyond words. Thank You Jenny
