Description

The John Lege Project will be hosting an ice skating benfit at The Rink at Rockefeller Center. This year, I am ice skating or sponsoring a local student to ice skate, to raise funds for The John Lege Project, which is committed to aiding African children who, through no fault of their own, are victims of war, rebel abductions, human trafficking, abuse and poverty. JLP founder, photographer Candace Scharsu, has dedicated her life to creating opportunities for these children. Candace’s years of experience in Africa mean that my support of JLP provides direct and effective aid to those most in need. Visit the JLP website to learn more. • Skate time is 60 minutes from the arrival time on your ticket. Late entry is permitted, but total skate time will be reduced for late arrivals. Skaters are guaranteed 40-60 minutes from the entry time on their ticket. • In accordance with the NYC Mandate and due to The Rink at Rockefeller Center being classified as an outdoor activity, proof of vaccination is not required to skate this season. All guests ages 2+, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask at all times while indoors. Once outside, you are free to remove your mask while skating. • The John Lege Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The ticket price includes any Eventbrite processing fees so that we may direct more aid to the children. As a paying registrant, you will receive an acknowledgement from JLP thanking you for your generosity in addition to an explanation of the extent that your donation is tax deductible by law. • Have questions about Ice Skating for The John Lege Project at The Rink at Rockefeller Center? Contact John Lege Project The John Lege Project is committed to aiding African children who, through no fault of their own, are victims of war, rebel abductions, human trafficking, abuse and poverty.
