Get ready for the boho chic accessory you've been waiting for! And the best part is you can tell everyone you made it yourself! ---THE WORKSHOP--- Learn how to make your own custom dried floral hat! This class is tailored for beginners so during the workshop you will be shown techniques and tips to easy to and artistically create you own personalized dried floral hat! While we'll have an example for you to leverage we also encourage creativity and you'll have a chance to design your own unique hat with available materials. You will be guided by an experienced floral artist to learn the very basics of floral design on a felt hat. To make things even more fun you will get to choose from from several hat colors options and further customize your hat with a variety of our hand made leather hat bands. All materials for this class will be included, along with refreshments. Materials: Dried Florals, Floral tape, Floral Wire, Felt Hat, Leather Hat Bands *Florals provided will be based on season and availability. May not match photo. ---WHAT YOU WILL MAKE--- You will leave with your very own custom handmade dried floral felt hat with a simple floral design. ---HEALTH AND SAFTEY--- As this workshop is in person the class will be limited to a small group of 8 appropriately distanced. Please come with a mask. Temperature checks, additional masks and hand sanitizer will be available. ---ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR--- Summer Reeves is an experienced maker, teacher, and do it yourself-er. She is an owner and experience designer at Thirteen48 and sits on the board of directors for TXRX Labs a local makerspace located in the east end. Summer loves to learn new crafts, skills, and mediums and is passionate about sharing that learning with others.
