ABOUT AWAKEN Chicago-based artist Jenny Vyas features her largest, most intimate body of work in this solo exhibit. “Awaken” explores emotional awakening and inner harmony in contrast to the emotional chaos in which we exist. Every single one of us struggles with our inner demons that dwell in the dark reaches of our unconscious mind. “Awaken” attempts to have the difficult conversations with our demons that lead to emotional breakthroughs and can forever change the course of our lives. ABOUT THE ARTIST Jenny Vyas is a nationally recognized Contemporary Fine Artist for her powerful paintings and murals. She is highly influenced by beauty in complex human emotions and attempts to reveal them through nuanced expressions in her work. Her interest in human frailty shows in her paintings where she creates abstracts of human silhouettes and fluctuating forms in half-light; all drawn from reality, personal experiences, and memories. STYLE & CLUB ETIQUETTE Members and guests will feel comfortable at the Club in smart casual attire. Please be sure to communicate this with any guests accompanying you. Denim without rips or distress is permitted while hats, t-shirts, flip flops, athletic wear and shoes, shorts, and loungewear are not. It is our goal to create a comfortable environment for our Members and guests while visiting the Club, it is up to our Members to share the style etiquette with their accompanying guests. The Metropolitan is designed for adults, but it is child-friendly. PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED Effective Monday, January 3, 2022, Public Health Order 2021-2, will require our Members and Guests to show proof they are fully vaccinated before entering the Club. Individuals who have previously received a medical or religious exemption, provided such patrons provide the covered entity proof of the medical or religious exemption and a COVID-19 test administered by a medical professional within the last 72 hours prior to entering a covered location are exempt from show proof of vaccination.
