Bay Area "Ramadan Ready" Workshop Series
Join us for our monthly Newcomers gathering at the Ta'leef Fremont campus as we prepare for the sacred month of Ramadan with our "Ramadan Ready" Workshop Series on Sun Feb 27th and Sun Mar 27th.
This month we will focus on The Essence & Practices of Ramadan exploring the importance and virtues of Ramadan as well as the "How-To's" of fasting. Next month's workshop will focus on Maximizing Ramadan where we will explore tips on how to make the most of this month of worship and spiritual growth. Next weekends Welcome to the Fold will take place at the same time as Black Muslim Food Week with vendors and food trucks parked all day at Ta'leef! It will be an exciting day!
This gathering is for those who have converted to Islam or are in the process of learning more about Islam to build connections with others who have undergone similar journeys and have a good time!
Please register so we can expect you!
Ta’leef Collective began as Zaytuna Institute’s Outreach program in 2002 and was born into an independent organization in 2005 per the request of Zaytuna’s leadership. Ta’leef Collective provides the space, content and companionship necessary for a healthy understanding, embrace and realization of Islam. Ta’leef Collective primarily serves seekers actively interested in Islam and converts to the faith, assisting them in realizing a sustainable conversion to and practice of Islam, and a healthy, gradual integration into our greater Muslim community. Ta’leef Collective also strives to reengage the growing number of disenfranchised and often marginalized Muslim young adults.
