Women's History Month: Providing Healing, Promoting Hope
Join Women in Power Empowering for our first in-person event in 2 years. We are excited to honor women on the frontline this Women's History Month. This year's theme is Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope, as a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.
Our event will feature a panel of Black women frontline workers to discuss "Providing Healing", followed by a keynote by the newly appointed CEO of JPS Health, Dr. Karen Duncan. Dr. Duncan is the first woman, and first Black person to be appointed to this role and will speak on the topic of "Promoting Hope". You don't want to miss it.
This is a free event, but capacity is limited. RSVP is required to attend and brunch will be provided.
Women In Power Empowering is a philanthropic group for African-American women
