Stop the Bleed training may help you save a life!
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action that encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. You will learn the various ways to control and/or stop bleeding after an injury, whether you only have your two hands to use or a full trauma first aid kit available to you.
The class will be held in the Allen Fire Department Administration training room and is open for all ages.
You will receive a participation certificate for attending the class. If you have any questions, contact Tony Cooper, AFD EMS Specialist, at 214.509.4420 or [email protected].
