Foster Village Charlotte's State of the Village Address: Film Screening & Panel Discussion
Join Foster Village Charlotte the evening of March 15th for an in-person State of the Village Address to screen the Resilience Film and participate in a follow-up panel discussion.
State of the Village Addresses are biannual gatherings where we come together to build awareness leading to deeper engagement and pathways to support a growing resilient community.
This film and panel discussion will allow us to develop transparency on the root causes of the foster care system by connecting the dots on how broader issues are related to foster care, ensuring every child experiencing foster care has a village of support around them.
This is an adult only event with capacity of 40. Parking available on street and in parking lot ($6). Childcare NOT available.
This film addresses topics that can be very triggering including addiction, violence, neglect, and abuse. Please be mindful as you make the decision to attend.
The mission of Foster Village Charlotte is to create a village of support for our local children in foster care and those caring for them by meeting urgent needs, providing support, and advocating for lasting change in our child welfare system.
